I’ve had a lot of great moments this school year, but none of them will compare to being inducted into the National Honor Society. Since middle school in the 8th grade, I always wanted to be in the honor society. I have no idea on why I always wanted to be in the program I guess I just wanted to just to say I’m in the National Honor Society. In middle school, I would always miss out on being in the program because they would only take scholars with a 3.8 or higher and I would always end up with a 3.6 until fourth quarter. It ****** but two years later, I found myself with the opportunity to be in the Nation Honor Society in High school. Which in my opinion, seemed even more better. Two years later, I know why I wanted to be in the program. I believe I fit the characteristics that are required by a scholar to be in the honors society. The opportunity came when I was in my second period class, in Pre-Calculus. Ms.Craft who is the honor society’s coordinator called Myself and another student out of class and handed us an envelope then said “Congratulations”. I wondered why she said congratulations, so when I walked back into class and opened the envelope it read “congratulations you have been nominated into the National Honor Society”. I immediately texted my mom and told her of the great news. After being nominated into the honor society, students are required to submit an application just for confirmation. So a few weeks later, after submitting the application I received a letter saying congratulations again and that the induction ceremony would be held on March 24, 2014. A few days later, On March 24, 2014 I was finally inducted into the National Honor Society.
