Boys Varsity Basketball Season begins Tuesday

CROSSLAND High School squares up against Douglass on Tuesday. CHS looks rejuvenated, and anxious for their first game if the year. New transfer student Darius Speaks looks to add a new dimension to this years Crossland team. Still in need of a true big man, they look to succeed without one. Crossland however offers some high flying guards with incredible speed. Senior Javae Lampkins looks to lead this team to a championship at the point guard position. He is a strong talented guard at that. Junior guard Eric Landis, looks to keep up his continued success with this team. Senior Charles Owens has improved his shooting, and has become even more of a threat from outside. I predict that this years team will do big and unprecedented things for CHS.
